PIE is a short film written by Bethany in early 2024.

“The project just came to me. I had a lot of inspiration after watching Sharp Objects a year ago, the character Amma sparking a desire in me to play such a complex, multi faceted role. Having then spent a lot of time working with women, making friendships and creating powerful connections. I felt the urge to write a sisterhood, that being unhinged, on screen in hopes that perhaps some of us may have the opportunity to act together again. That truly is that heart of PIE, what it means to be family and all of the dysfunctions that come along with it. Being set in 1970’s America it’s also pretty fun too. I feel so passionate about this film, it quite literally spilled out of me, so I cannot wait to make it a reality on screen.” - Bethany
